Based in Paris, France, Internews International is an association of over 30 non-governmental media organizations working together to support freedom of expression around the world. II has "operational relations" status with UNESCO and is accredited with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

Internews International® fights for the rights of journalists and the media through a network of media lawyers. It enhances tolerance and understanding through its support of independent media in emerging democracies, produces and distributes innovative television programming, and uses the media to reduce conflict within and between countries. Create a mutlilingual information repository accessible from everywhere (potentially allowing offline use)
Allow very easy, non-intrusive, submission of all type of digital information (documents, media, email, bookmarks, slideshares, mindmaps...)
Allow comments, questions around documents, and semantic tagging of these annotations also.
Allow declarative access rights for documents and
Allow very easy semantic tagging of documents according to several perspectives (geographical, project life cycle, thematic,...), including semantic analysis (through opencalais for instance)
Allow very easy extraction and tagging of paragraphs or sections inside documents.
Allow declarative and deductive semantic profiling, and social network topology to notify users of interesting documents related to their work and interests.
